Most all of that is in the configuration file, look it up in the wikki if you get the complete configuration file you can change all kinds of stuff that will, 99% of the time, break the emulator.......

Also had that happened but only a couple times, seems to be when the bots do the majority of the damage and get the last hit... which i think is in the NPC encoding more than bot's themselves...
