i noticed the other day that there are a couple #channels in the irc.eqemulator.net server that have server names. are those channels merely topically related to those servers or are they channels that let you speak to people currently logged into that server?

reason i ask, i remember when eq put out an epim client several years ago, and it was nice being able to chat with guildies and friends when i was stuck at work.

do we have a similar functionality in the eqemu and if so, how does one set it up
