Default Need a copy of MySQL version 4.0x
All of the server files say you need 4.0.x and that 4.1, and 5.x will not work.
Does anyone have a copy of 4.0?

Yes but anything past 4.0.x does not have the same compatibility.
I'm having troubles figuring out how to start MySQL in "OLD_PASSWORD" functioning mode? Any help for the terminaly stupid?

I have read some statements that I need to start it in this mode, but not seen the verbage needed to do so.
