Lavastorm changed

My lavastorm is not like the one in the original EQ, but my database is the old lavastorm, how do I change lavastorm back to the old one? Should I change server or client?

Sorry for my poor English.
I found it is impossible to do this because of Minilogin.
Because it seems minilogin don't send Username and password to server, so server can only check ip.
Can anyone...
