Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5998. (I don't run the new one so i could be corrected here) :)

Talking A simple way is to try..

On your server of choice, target yourself (F1) then type #level 65
If it tells you you don't have the required permissions, then you're in for the long grind!

Talking Guards attacking

As far as I know, I think that in 0.6.0DR2 the guards will not work correctly..I run 060DR3 and they do, I think it's only in DR3 that they work at this moment.
I would think it may be a problem...

I'm not that great with PERL myself yet, but have you put the npc_name.pl file into your quests dir under the correct zoneshortname dir?

for instance, a quest that has it's npc in qeynos2...

MWMDragon.. Help again!!! please!

This script works FINE up until the line if($platinum eq 200 ) it doesn't get past this line, it's like the npc doesn't know the plat is given???
any ideas?

A perl problem.. need a little guidance :)

My quest simply refuses to run..and I can't for the life of me figure out why, I have searched..but to no avail..any help would be appreciated..

No, Bel.. I did the delete from items; thing.
and once I ran the items.txt it unpacked fine, it's just on running world.exe I get the "too many items" crash

Too many items !!!

I installed 061.. went FINE !!..but world reports too many items and doesn't load them!!.. can I shorten the items.txt and redo it?, if so.. what is the limit on items I can have?

The install itself went perfectly..but, on loading world.exe it reports too many items.. says to increase the max in items.. C++ is an alien language to me :(( so if anyone could help here it would...

File unzipped.. Zones crash on char entry

Hi Bel, yes got the 7z extension sorted...(NICE compression).. but, on trying the program, I found that the Zones crashed whenever the char tried to access them :(

Do you have any idea what may be...

Checked.. and the NPC_FACTION_ENTRIES max is 18799.
the NPC_FACTION max is 49999..
I haven't the slightest idea what to try next!!
