Default Profile/ Extprofile

Do these actually do anything?

Yes, they store tons of stuff about your character like your spell book, stats, bind points, coin etc.

Here's a link to the profile struct with comments.

Well I'm wondering because the characters on my server will only work if I set Extprofile to null. If i keep it as it is, I can't source them back in correctly

If I deleted extprofile, would it really make much of a difference?

The profile and extprofile fields are BLOB's. The extprofile probably got corrupted when you dumped it. I think the extprofile only contains pet info right now. So, I don't see why it would be a big deal to empty it.

You may want to check the length of the extprofile data you're trying to source back in and make sure it's the same length as the field expects.

Good to hear. I've been working on putting custom content back and restoring characters for 3 days now. I can't wait to finish.
